Brothers in Arms

Walk with me my brothers
To worship solitaire upon the word of truth
For ‘tis eve and I hear the vesper
That rung out so clear in youth
Circling in thier own despair.
I was shown springs
Where only Death was known to live
Wrapped in the heat
Of the simmering cauldron of souls
Never known to exist.
They rode with us also
A mighty warrior band
Cresting each the rolling hills
In a gallant force
But the war was over
Though battles sought us out
With wounds leaving us crying.
Thus, we rode on
As the sun came
On gentle feet to close the day
As the next shall soon come to pass
As will I
And this
The Great Spirit
With my brothers in arms.
