lack of passion

Staring into crying eyes, we turn our backs and walk away
Watching as the innocent die, We close hearts and ignore the pain
And everything we could of done becomes what we should of done
Still we'll never learn from our mistakes
We just point our fingers and place the blame
As our lives will remain the same, until we look back
To see out reached hand fade into the distance
And this will be the fall of man
The lack of passion, the absence of remorse
As long as our lives stay on coarse
We will never truly care
This is the palace we build with in ourselves
A burning picture of the dreams we held
We unite to cast the blame
Then look away as our cities drown in pain
