you Left

Contributed by Phantomvampyress on Monday, 14th July 2008 @ 04:38:22 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Sometimes I don't know what to make of anything
your there, yet gone
I waited by your doorstep you never showed up
I waited in bitter vain these feelings for you I tried so hard to restrain...
but I can't resist you ever
Our ties I can't sever
will you truly go away forever?
Please don't make me face the world alone without you here
I'm already scared
hating myself
blaming myself for your leaving me

Touching write but I don't think you are to blame.
Life is what it chooses to be, some things we can't change

It's so easy to blame ourselves for what others did to us... I know exactly where you are coming from on that note... I really enjoyed reading this piece, the pain was real and raw and you portrayed it with ease. Thanks for posting. I'm going to look at more of your work!
