Push me out the door
I come back for more
Hurtful words and lies
Blue and blackened eyes
Pain won't go away
Still I choose to stay?
You make me believe
Your better than me
Elbow to the chin
Bruises under my skin
Breaks my heart in two
I'm supposed to love you?
Pain won't go away
Still I choose to stay
What is wrong with me
Why can't you set me free?
Bleeding from the nose
The blood is on my clothes
Inside I want to die
Instead I sit and cry
Pain wont go away
Still I choose to stay
I just can't beleive
The woman that is me

| good write. i am a big believer in making poems rhyme though so many people say the rhyme takes away from the message and thats not true and you proved that with this poem. i |
