You've turned me inside out,
My heart on my sleeve,
I love you so deeply, without you it's hard to breathe...
Without you...
A longing to be whole,
To hide from all the pain,
To savor the sweet taste of your soul...
A longing to stay in your arms,
To lay there for eternity,
All your love, your heart, your charms...
I'll love you to infinity if you let me.
Because you are my breath,
My love,
My hope,
Nested into the very depths of my soul...
You drive me wild,
Floating on this cloud,
Kiss away my tears,
And all the while I looked to others when the answer was here, now.
And I long for the words to tell you,
But they fumble through my mind,
Lost, they scatter,
And my mind will not rest, nor will time...
I must breathe.
