Digging hands in mud hope for a well fingers black smiling people sweating but proud
community helping hands building nurturing protecting from the wolves out the flock
vision a public necessity many voices making change all for the better all for the need not the ego
hands crossed love and safety bitter tongues laid to waste better ways to conserve energy
industry taken from the homes the chemicals and pesticides laid to waste like old ideas
bring forth only prosperity new and a right to be free your voice your world
simple days with true stories told putting away the murder and the past
gardens grown fields to grow wasting nothing of the world and the ways of it
towers laid to waste fear with it growth in humanity building blocks of life
love life and all we can build tall grass and laughter
words just on the screen images on my mind
dreams so quiet simple only just ............
Alarm screams heat of the day already beating in my insulated room
i smell the street its already melting my shoes
shirt pressed walking threw this sea of people phones ringing does anyone care
cars late gas is high the job just is not right some things in the way what don't i see
screens on someone chatting something about death and Hollywood
has my interest as much as my berry always have my berry tap tap tap
fingers fly English shortened as my attention quiet my public image the keyboard tells everything
clock tells two bars lame home alone to close my eyes and think and think
alarm clock screams.....
