Heart pumping
Muscles aching
Always on the alert
Always aware
of my friend shaking
Never sleeping
Never eating
I fall asleep for just a second
Crash goes my friend
I reach for her
but can't catch her
Lifting and bracing
my muscles aching
Finally she's on the couch
I leave the room
for just a second
she's shaking and twiching
She's dribbling and gurgaling
Quick thinking
Lay down a blanket
I turn her on her side
plop she goes on the blanket
I scream her name
and call the ambulance
Paramedics come
ring goes the phones
And in the ambulance I ride
Shaking, shaking
go all her limbs and head
so many siezures
I count 15 without stopping
Spinal tap
Now I can callaps
Thank god Tuesdays over
Time to get ready for work
