Dying While I Wait To Die

There is nothing worse than losing someone you love, especially when they are in the prime of their life.
The unexpectedness of the situation leaves a bitterness a taste in your mouth that will be there for a long time.
I find myself at a loss for words.
Tears choking out any sounds.
My head pounding, eyes welling,
Heart continuously breaking.
Your infectious laugh gone forever.
No more smiles, no more laughing.
Only tears and words unspoken.
Broken hearts filled with hate.
Six siblings now reduced by one.
Dying while they wait to die.
Days turn to weeks then months.
Steadily getting closer to you.
Screaming, yelling, fighting, breaking.
We grieve to remember you.
I hope that you are watching this.
I bet you're wondering: "What the.....?"

When it comes to losing a loved one expected or not it is always a hard and sad thing to endure. I too lost my uncle this week.
This poem is beautiful, I understand your sorrow.
Keep him alive in your heart and memories those never leave us sweety.
