One moment the butterflies fill your stomach. You ache with more intensity every second that passes by. Every second that puts you ever closer to seeing her again. Life’s everyday necessities become second to this over whelming feeling that occupies your body.
Vivid pictures of what seems like a dream pass through your mind. You pause and reflect on every image in your thoughts. She is so beautiful. Her hair, as soft as the silk it was made from. Her eyes, so deep they could hold galaxies of stars.
Life takes on a whole new meaning. Everything looks brighter, fuller. The shadows of a past time are eradicated by this holy light she emanates. You want nothing more than to tell her how wonderful she is, and then prove it to her with every waking moment of your existence.
You blink. Only for a second, but that is all it takes. A second and you are plunged back into reality, a reality where she is with another. She loves him and he her. You understand this bond and know that as long as she wishes it so, you will have no part in breaking it.
Your butterflies fade. Your life is not quite as bright as it was before. Still, it takes but a moment with her to feel revived again. To have all of those feelings rush back into your body and make you whole again. How can you hold on to this feeling? What can you do to make it ever lasting? The trick is……..don’t blink.

Eyes so deep they could hold galaxies of stars...... delightful
