Un-named.

There’s a guy in my life right now.
I don’t think he realizes how much I need him.
Because of that other guy, I began to fall apart.
But now, this new guy is mending up my heart.
It’s been so long since I was able to breathe.
But now I can and it feels so wonderful.
I want to try something new, something I’ve never done before: to cuddle.
I want you to hold me in your arms,
Where I know I’ll be safe from all harm.
I want you to hold me,
And make me see,
That everything will be okay.
Promise you will stay.

I realize now that even after a broken heart,
You can always restart.
There is someone out there,
And they don’t want to hurt you.
I was told that before and I never believed it was true.
But that was before I found you.
Now everything has changed.
