A Ravine

Cry a ravine,
All fauna marine;
Hear the sirens of whales baleen --
Articulate in maritime,
Their eon-warped chime.
Waves thud and refuse to splatter.
What is the matter?
Check the ocean's pulse;
These bantam waves convulse.
The sea is a veritable black.
Grievously I track
As the tide will ebb -- then smack.
It comes back.

Neat path you've chosen here. Very articulate.
