Speak To Me

Contributed by Loende on Sunday, 6th July 2008 @ 05:19:24 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

The pain in your heart, though it feels it won’t end
will soon bleed away, and you’ll smile again.
And though times seem dark, with no end in sight
believe what I say, that all will be right.
For great joy to come, great pain is endured
and heartbreak builds love, kind, full and sure.

You are lonely tonight and yes you might cry,
but morning will come and you will not die.
Your friends, those who love you, will be at your back.
Near or far, close or not, you can count on this fact.
And though life is hard and though it has pain,
you'll get through this time and soon things will change.

You’ll not need to cry, Your voice will return
through these trials that you’ve faced, your love is reborn.
And when that day comes, when that dawn breaks,
Your heart will soar free and your soul come awake.
Your smile will be bright, the day filled with glory
And I'll be there with you, to hear your next story.

Your words they are touching, your message so clear
The rhymes are superb, the tempo sincere
I'm very impressed with this lovely write
A godmothers prayer she whispers each night
One day rise your words, of this i forsee
And I too shall wait for your next story.

I didn't even need to look at the topic you posted this under to experience how inspirational it is...how truly beautiful and encouraging. I would wish for that Fairy Godmother too. Excellent, excellent writing. Lots of emotion and it makes me smile.

Thank you for a most enjoyable poem.

Tim
