You showed me an answer I didn’t see,
An ending to pain, a way to be free.
But this freefall ends in pavement,
The words aren’t worth the statement.
All I could see were blurry faces,
All the angry people in wrong places.
No pair of eyes cared to see mine,
I was an actor who forgot my line.
As the roller coaster fell down,
I coughed up tears, starting to drown.
Nothing made sense, not anymore,
It wasn’t like this the day before.
Pretending to hide, I was exposed
Forced to my fate, epitaph composed.
Under six feet of shame, I clearly see
I should have chosen differently.
