So You Might Not Hear Me.

Spoken all in silence, deprived of sound.
Spoken in disbelief, words don't make sense anymore.
Do I listen to the earliest winds?
Do I see the morning moths?
My only tree stands as my only friend.
A fantastic conversation ends in awkward silence.
I believe we have never met, and I believe we never will.
I cannot hear the earliest winds,
I cannot see the morning moths.
My tree has fallen, my friends' betrayal.
So you might not hear me, when I say..
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I felt many things while reading this. You captured such depth with few words. Nice work here.
