Dancing Without You

Your smile comes across the room, a secret gift
I know your heart and sould and mind
Your dissatisfaction with life shows around your eyes
You try so hard to hide the truth
Keep them all happy at your expense
Giving up on your dreams
I want to shout, make her see you
Look into those eyes, into that soul
Dance with you in the moonlight
Laugh with you, make love with you
Why can't she see you as I do
And I'm left to dance without you...

Ooooo so glad to see a post from you!!
I missed your writing!
How did you do this? Both artistic and blunt at the same time. That is no easy feat! I can feel the frustartion, longing and the emotion that just leaps off of this.
Your writes never let me down! |
