Hey Mr. Sinner,
Seek the untrodden path;
As sinners seldom walk this line.
Follow your heart;
Question it at times,
Never relent upon your way.
Be your own hero,
One on which to rely,
For heroes never let you down.
Hold onto your dreams;
Dream with untold aspirations
And never profess defeat.
Choose your steps wisely;
If you fall off course
A step away it can be found.
Lay down your sins,
If for but a day;
And soon the day will never end.

| It grabbed me that in the third line of the first stanza, you say "this" line. To me, choosing to use "this" instead of "that" immediately lets the reader know you are talking of your own personal journey. By the way, you use semicolons (a terrific bit of punctuation when used properly) beautifully. |
