AN ODE TO THE INSANE

Contributed by cutestmofo on Monday, 30th June 2008 @ 06:41:53 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

Who am I but just another dreamer
Another snowflake in the winter
Who am I but just another lonesome face
Another mystery gone without a trace

My mind they say plays tricks on me, but whose doesn’t
But to me I say, whose mind shouldn’t
Am free from the state of mind we call reality
And then they call me mad what stupidity

I remain free from man’s wretched thoughts
A mixture of war and greed in his diabolical melting pots
These white walls, what do they truly do
All they ever seem to do is lie to you

My only friend is a dark figure
Who only appears where ever light may linger
He does not speak but only mocks me
Don’t the sane say this is another form of flattery?

Well flatter me not you shadowy fiend
No more must I see you where I have been
Who am I but another man who feels pain
Who are you to call me insane

wo friend, any one that can write as good as you should never worry 'bout what others think.
Really good work.
I spent a life time to not be what they call normal. it's obvious that normal isn't that good any ways.
smiles, huggs, blessings,
emy
