This was the night where ancient feelings arose
A days breath into a shattered dream unfolds
My angel wings clipped
Spiraling ever faster to my dark demise
Repeating broken patterns into mine eye
My angel wings clipped
Thoughts of previous fallen pursue
He prays lifes choices will pull him through
My angel wings clipped
Earth full of anguish imminently approaches
Golden horses dragging dark veiled coaches
My angel wings clipped
Down there all that wait are pain and hate
My only hope are those pearl white gates
My angel wings clipped
Save me now or take this honest man
Take me now to your promised land
