~The Play Has Ended~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Friday, 27th June 2008 @ 06:15:22 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

~~^~~

The Play has ended
The actors have played their parts.
And always at the finale'
Some leave with broken hearts.

The Play has ended
The unraveled plot is done.
She certainly has no regrets
It has all been so much fun.

The Play has ended
The lead actor has left.
And one of the actresses
Is now bereft.

The Play has ended
Her services are no longer required.
She treasures the time
When once she was desired!

The Play has ended
The curtains are now drawn.
The stage has been cleared
The actors will soon be gone.

The Play has ended
She has had her time of glory!
It's time for her to move on..
But that's another story!

~~^~~

Hey Jenni,

First: There is so much understanding where you sit and hopes of new things to come. Perfect write.

Second: I wish you all of my best and lets hope the next play is a fairy tale as the two of you ride of into the sunset.

Excellent play ..... on words hun!! :D

Wonderful piece of poetry this. A masterful flow with perfect rhyming
and executed thought. The cadence is almost soothing; enough that the
reader almost doesn't notice the melancholy feel that floods the words.

Lovely post, dear Jenni. Painfully beautiful ~

She treasures the time When once she was desired . . .

This line is remarkable, i was realy close to the screen when i was reading your poem,i
can tell you it had an astounding emotional
impact on me, i was suddenly wisked away
to a yesterday long gone i keep inside of me. quite needless to say, your a true craftsman as well as a prestigious poet and artist, in your expert delivery. One could only hope to acheive a mere resemblance, in obtaining
a noticable place, in your leauge . . .

thank you Jenni for your read aslo, it's most
appreaciated as always . . .
