Missing someone
You never knew
Is just like lying
Without being true
It just makes sense
Life with impact
Heartfelt truths
You never lacked
Find some time
Let the tears fall
You never know
They may just call
Dead end job
On your first shift
When is it time
For your lift
One of these days
You'll find the sun
But until that day
Your smile is done
Missing someone
You've never known
Your eyes have water
Your bird is flown

Cute write. It vaguely reminds me of the song "Ironic" by Alanis M. Kind of a 'damned if you do and damned if you don't' feel to it.
Thanks for sharing,
