The roads are laving up confused cray
Where it's nostalgic to watch the dispelled day
And smell the stench of the sinking cay
Skull Island is inking on this place,
With its bellicose niches on its devious face
Whose offenses have left no bloody trace
To warn newcomers from running their caress
There is no red-flagged, alarming buttress
So the wounded exit piece by piece, like morbid chess
The skull has had his heyday without penitence
His teeth now sag in stone, something unknown, whence
They resemble fallen posts off a picket fence
As he munches on a charred maybe s'more
Tenets of his worldly mouth crumble to the core.
Knobby and loose they seep into the shore
From decay, and the cay, where treasures rot
And solitude has crystallized bodies once hot,
Who, marooned alone, love their loved ones not

Absolutely Fantastic. Excellent Imagry flowing sceen to scene. Reads as clean a freestyle with excellent meter. I really like it.
