Through my heart you’ve stabbed,
My insanity nabbed.
It’s been 3 months since I’ve lost you,
And it still hurts like it used to.
3 months later, I can finally cry.
The numbness has seemed to fade and die.
And now as hard as I try,
All I can do is cry.

My chest is now gaped open,
Thinking of what could’ve been.
I can breathe now.
So take your bow.
You managed to hurt me in a way no one else could’ve.
I should’ve known that you would’ve.

I think I like feeling numb better,
Feeling as light as a feather.
I didn’t have to worry then about someone hurting me;
I couldn’t be hurt badly.
But now I can.
All this pain because of one man…
