Your Revelations

Repressed this mourning breast;
For, I was hearing in my head,
"Time will elapse when no one claps."
Lock in room like a skittish groom,
Blue bedsheet roils the fleet of feet.
This ceasefire tossed with ire?
Study like obeisant boy,
Recite lines that incite fights.
Can you devote to more than rote?
Dare to rearrange the books in mange?
And mismatch some chickenscratch?
Could be unwise, lest we cap size
On this sea so terse – the choppings of a universe.
Swallow up this wallowed sigh,
And embroider lacy conspiracy
Of cobweb and goblin-spider.
Unravel seduction of the writer.
That peters out with warmth of heater.
Swallow up this huff and puff.
No one savors your revelations,
Ineffable as deafness.

I liked this! I'm not a fan of rhyming but you really did it well! Never seen this type of rhyming before, with a rhyme on every line. Well almost every line. Very good! |
