Forever In My Heart

Contributed by chrissylee on Sunday, 22nd June 2008 @ 02:44:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Take my hand, take my heart,
For we are never meant to be apart,
There’s better times ahead for you and I.

The road we’ve travelled has been long,
Too many years spent apart,
We’ve been searching many miles,
You and I.

Now I’ve finally found the sun,
In your eyes of mystery,
There sparks a ray of fun,
Within my hidden burning desire.

Take my heart hold me close,
And never let me go,
For I belong by your side forever more.

We met by fait,
Not by trait,
In a distant year gone by,
It’s never too late.

To start the life that we were meant to lead,
So hold my hand, hold my heart,
Kiss my lips hold me close,
I know I’ll never feel any pain again.

You’re the reason,
I believe,
That I was born to live this life,
To be together every day side by side.

The love I feel,
Deep within,
It will never be a sin,
To hold you tight and Love you eternally.
