Am I the one chosen from the multitude?
Am I to be the man destined for you?
I do not know yet, for who else will do
the wonderful things that I wish for you?
I cannot predict the man of your future,
but there is one thing I do know for sure.
I wish for you to be happy all the time
in whatever that takes or signifies.
For true joy, you are worth it, you deserve it,
and I wish your soul mate to preserve it
for every second, for every breath,
until the saddest hours of your death.
I wish you the best since I hate to admit
I am not that great, but my love for you is.
I wonder…if we do get together,
I fear you will find someone better.
So why should I even try?
