A hungry horse

a beautiful stallion stands tall in his cramped little stall.waiting paitiently snorting softly
wondering when his rider will return. worrying so much his nearvs churn. he paces round and
round listening for a single sound. his ears start to flick he gives the stable door a kick he,s
hungrey and worried sick. prahaps something bad has happend mabie he will not return but this horse
will soon learn his rider will allways return.the horse settels down for the night while the stars
shine bright and while owls do take flight.the sun rises from the east and shines upon the sleeping beast.
the sleeping horse opens his eyes to find a big supprise as a big feast dose meet his eyes. he lookes
around for the source of his feed but sees no soal near or far that could have done the deed.the next
day i wake to see my owner lookisng at me i jump to my feet and nay with joy at once again seeing my boy.
but something is wrong somethings amiss my boy looks sad and lonley as he lookes at his beautiful pony.
a tear trickles down his face as his sparkiling eyes full of tears i nay but it seems not to reach his ears. i give the door a kick as if to ask if this is some trick.
he opens my door and leades me once more over the fields of green that i know so well very near the old wishing well.
he leads me in to a very small box then steps back as the door closes i stare out at the garden full of roses confused and sad. the boy who to me who was like a dad
i snort sadly as im driven away i dont even nibble my hay.
after many houres the box dose stop im so tiered ready to drop.
the doors open wide to a feild of green with many horses whose faces look mean
i walk out lonley and sad hoping very much there is food to be had.
a few days have passed i still miss my boy and am still feeling sad but im getting over the boy who was once like my dad and there is good food to be had.

| Your poetry is always enjoyable to read, perhaps because I too am an animal lover. I'm glad nothing bad happened to the horse in the end of your tale. |
