The Land Of Lost..*

Contributed by hannah_heaven on Thursday, 19th June 2008 @ 09:37:23 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

the left sock
the bunch of keys
the crayons
the hello kitty pencil case
your favourite doll
and all of her possessions.

they are not simply 'lost'
as the grown-ups say
the truth is
they are transported to another land
'The Land Of Lost'
how you say?
portals all over our world connect us to others
like unicorn lands
fairys
nympths
dragons and knights
beautiful prince's and princess's
even mermaids
and when pairs become separated
it allows the creatures of The Land Of Lost
to obtain them
in their land,
it contains the right side of lost items
and the left side
if items from the left and right side met
the world would implode!
as the lost items would become found
and the world couldnt simply exist

the lands are divided in such
the river of socks
the wind of keys
the earth of jeans
the creatures of lost
are of all shapes and sizes
their language
is from times lost and forgotton
so nobody or anything could understand
except of corse another creature of lost!

the left sock
the bunch of keys
the skinny jeans
the vintage barbie
all belong to the Land Of Lost!

Hi Hannah,

this is both funny and beautifully written. Much nice to think socks go to a heavenly world then that there's some beastly conspiracy against messy absent minded poets like me...Now I will see the lost sock with a smile , even when i curse out loud...
cheers,
SC
