It's the little things
that make friendship stand,
The understanding,
The holding of a hand,
The reassurance of it all,
The little smile that seems to make it all worth
while.
Yet it's these little things that
get pushed aside, while trying to
hang on in life's crazy ride.
The pressures keep mounting, so who has the time to stop for a moment to say,"I'm glad we
met".
You work real hard dealing with life's ups and
downs hoping to get ahead, you have a few,
but something always comes up to set you
behind, Litltle Things are forgotten
with so much on your mind.
The love you once had, that stood on it's own
now needs a crutch, that you've gotten on
loan, But out you go to buy a gift that is ever
so grand, but what's really needed is the holding of a hand.
