~One last dance~

Topic: DarkPoetry

My love, I cannot escape your wanting, charms and need
to take me to the world where I will never sleep.
Escaping the grips of my mortal pain, I wait for you.

I see the pale moon rising, above the haunted trees.
I shall never feel alone or feel the need of want.
Forever strolling in your evil arms, a mistress of late midnight.

Becoming a mere ghost of the woman I once was.
Strolling within the shadows of crimson tides.
Twined by your blood, our sickness our sin.

You come to me, I smell the scent of musk.
Looking at you one would not see the vampire behind the charm.
One last dance my love, before my breath turns to ice.

I shall rise again, once you taste away my life.
Share your eternal fever as it runs through my veins.
My voice to fade away to all who knew me, a mere whisper on the wind.

The music fades away, the darkness turns to a brief shroud.
I feel your fire inside of me, I drop my silken red gown.
Forever is eternal, my heart beats with the rhythm of you.
