Nature’s Highway

Contributed by wheels on Thursday, 19th June 2008 @ 04:32:40 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I was drawn to the highway
Slithering slender through the meadows
Beckoning me to leave behind
This insipid sea of ties.

I found myself stripping free
From the burden of my clothing
Leaving behind me
At the doorstep of guilt
I ran open armed into the wilderness.

Nature became my lover
Savage and cruel…
Honest and beautiful where…
Lonely, the air embraced me
In warm and tender hands
And the river seduced me
With cool passion-wet kisses.

Mistily it rained
In wispy wanton mischief
It’s raindrop-tongues
Curling sensuously down my willing neck
Laying naked in a muddied field embrace.

There,
The puddles lapped lusciously at my sides.
As I ran my hand slowly up my muddied belly
And cried
Reveling in the simple sensations of life.

Oh this highway trip sounds like a good one.
We talked about our travels some lastnight.
This is splendid, I could picture it all.

Hugs

Michelle

Nice, nothing better than being out is there?
I am a trucker so I relate to this.
Shelby told me to watch for your work.
