Silent Conversations
Silent conversations is how we share
Our thoughts and feelings and to say we care
The place may be filled with twenty or more
At times two or three at a time come through the door
Silent conversations are the way we have here
To convey what is bothering us or to show who we hold dear
Speaking in voices from the mildest to the most strong
We speak, each of us in turn all day long
Silent conversations keep us connected to each other
Whether we be a son, a daughter, a father or a mother
I am thankful for the silent conversations each of these days
I am honored to be among writers I respect in so many ways
Silent Conversations………..

Wow a wonderful tribute. And powerfully true. Silent Conversations are the most important part of every person's daily grind. What is said in nothingness can speak ten fold that which is screamed from the roof tops. They say the quiet are always thinking, and that the greatest fear is what they are thinking. Well I am not sure about the greatest fear part...but the silent are always thinking. Thoughts are exactly what move this world, spin us in motion. If all were quiet for a day I believe that day would be the most satisfying, productive day. I believe inspiration would drip from every corner like honey and the world would (on that day) be a better place because of it's moment of silence. Noise, quite frankly is a distraction to life and the thought process.
Quite a wonderful bit of work you have here. I am very impressed and very moved.
Bravo!

all too true in this medium. It took me about 2 yrs on line to hear the voices of some of my favourite poets(phone calls, blog sites), and another 2 to see faces and eventually meet some in person. I liked the anonymity for a while, but eventually it becomes another mask you wish you had taken off sooner.
Funnily enough, some of the people online here that I've had the most personal and frequent conversations with I have never seen a picture of or heard their voices. Silent indeed.
