Nice night
that evening,
we made a date to go to the movie,
the movie was "The moon tonight is beautiful".
On the way to movie,
you changed your mind,
"Let us go for a walk,
what do you say?" "Ok, as you choose."
I smiled.
We walked far to the field by the river,
we sat in the moonshine quietly.
Under the bright moon,
we could see the water stream down the riverway clearly,
cool!
white!
beautiful!
All the lovely words filled me with admiration, somehow.
You started telling me something about you and your family,
I was listening to you,
and never took my eyes off your expression.
At last,
you delivered yourself of a good joke,
I just curled up and gave you my back.
Same here,
I told you something about mine too,
we got on very well together,
and I found it was easy to talk to you,
we had a magical time that night,
my sense was really good,
"Nice night!"
From that night on,
we became good friends pretty quickly.
Whenever I think of it,
I thank the bright moon much indeed,
specially I am greatly indebted the nice night.
