Cupboard
Worse than a cemetery.
Mound of crumbling skins
chewed on pens
bitten off tales
unsent love letters,
photos where the once tender smiles
have turned in on themselves
to leer like death grins.
Secret diaries
full of obscure and lonely teenage sins.
Mournful procession of sunsets kissed through ribbon and pastel shades.
Residue of runny eyes and noses
melting into mothballs and cheap aftershave.
They die softly a little every day.
Like orgiastic revellers hung over
gorged on frills and beads.
Then give birth to more subtle deaths.
I’ve met my just deserts in things
to stop the uninvited fairy getting in.

Interesting piece...I will have to read a couple more times before I am able to grasp the meaning you are trying to convey...your imagery is amazing.

Profound write here. I find an underlying mystery to these words. Like memories floating in and out of ones mind, things collecting as we get older, dreams fading. Maybe I am way off not sure pm me lol.
I am desertwhispers at myspace so I will be giving you an add as well!
