Throughout my life, I have shared much history with a lot of friends, teachers, coworkers, and family, and I keep all of them close to my compassionate heart. I feel that absolutely nothing can keep as apart. However, I have no favorites, for I do not paste any label on them as this or that to avoid such stupid squabble. In times of trouble, I do my best to help solve their personal problems. If I had to, I would step in front and take a bullet for them. Even for a random stranger, I would sacrifice my life if he or she calls for help in danger. I treat every single child and adult the same whether I do or do not know their name. I give the world my word, but I cannot guarantee a guarantee because I have reflected back on the days of treachery.
I will not be like God, for he was disobeyed by Lucifer.
I will not be like Abel, for he was killed by his brother.
I will not be like Jesus, for he was betrayed by Judas.
I will not be like Caesar, for he was back-stabbed by Brutus.
I will not be like husbands, for they were heartbroken by infidelity.
I will not be like altar servers, for they were molested by priests.
Thus, every friend and foe can play opposite roles. So, do I trust anyone? No, not even myself. I have known my best friend and my worst enemy all this time. From birth, they have been sown within me from the inside and out. Without a doubt, I am a paradox, a contradiction, a conflict, a lone court judge for the liars and the honest. I will not repeat the past and fall to one’s pride, greed, jealousy, inferiority, or authority. Til death, I will keep behind my head an extra pair of eyes peeled, for it is my heart, dignity, and jewelry no one will ever steal.
