These eyes are getting weary darling
there is no end to this black ribbon in sight.
Westward bound again, I see your face in the sunset.
I have been out on this road,
shifting through the gears.
Only sound I seem to know, is cb chatter in the ears.
Then I think I hear your voice,
mind plays tricks on a man when he is alone.
Just me and this big ol rig, bouncing down the road.
West ward roll I’m going, big wheels keep on turning.
For you I am yearnin wanting to turn this truck around.
I thought I saw you in the sunset, heard your voice callin me back home.

I loved this write so much. I miss being out.
