No You in Heartbroken

Contributed by reprobate on Wednesday, 11th June 2008 @ 01:54:47 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Though you believe they'll hold the key to her heart
What words will you say, where could they be found
Are there sentences that would carry Cupid's dart
All you know is there is no life without her around

What would you possibly say to help her understand
That Us only happens because our love is not wrong
And you'd give her the universe to hold in her hand
Yet only with her at your side could you be so strong

So where are those words that will spark love's flame
You know your heart can't take losing the one for you
Will you say a heart full of agony is empty just the same
That without her, your world is so cold, lonely and blue

Silently you pray that she's not really walking away
Holding back tears stabs more sorrow into your heart
Though you've been hurt so many times before today
That too familiar pain returns anew watching her part
