In my room...

Captured in the glow of my cigarette
Your silhouette lies still
Lying in bed next to me
Purring from your fill
A passing headlight shines through the window
Illuminating the room an arctic ice white
It broke the spell and you opened your eyes
But no-one can ever take away tonight
As morning breaks and reality bites
It's all too much for me to take
If I give you my number will you remember my name?
Or just leave and let my heart ache.....

This write is sensual yet heart wrenching all wrapped up in one.
I love the line illumination the room an arctic ice white.
