Pushed aside and forgotten while the whole world watches me fall to my knees broken and bruised.
Today i'm the fool
But tomorrow someone else will be.
You're my heart and soul,
But am i yours?
You say you love me and you say you miss me but while she's around you sit and diss me.
If she's the important one then be with her.
I'm tired of fighting an endless battle
All i want is some affection,
But instead i get jokes and deception.
And i'm the one who just stands by and accepts them.
A hopeless romantic too in love to give up and let go.
So here we go on with the show.

After reading this, the reader cannot help but feel the pain the author is experiencing..
This poem reached out and touched me in ways I can't explain. Maybe it's cuz I feel 'forgotten' at the moment. (not in my personal life but work related.) Good write.
Hope to see more of your work.
