HELLO

Topic: oops

Hello how are you, I am doing fine
Thought I would answer some questions of yours that you feel down deep inside
One- what did it mean when we locked eyes
Two, why did you catch me by surprise
Three, who are you now, have you changed from the past
And I would reply with please sit down and relax
girl, you stay so aglow in my memory
Every girl I see, apart of you is in their identity
But let me answer the questions that you have asked
Hopefully we can look at the present and forget the past
One- when we locked eyes it meant we were looking for something to hold
Two- I caught you by surprise, because I had the disease and you were sold
Three- I am now a less anxious version of july
You sit down, and look at me in the eye
“You became so apart of me that I couldn’t breathe”
“Listen because of you, now I can see”
I don’t need your *****, or your baggage on the side
I need me, just me, and that’s how I survive
Your direction switches and suddenly you are in my home
You are on my bed and we are all alone
Grab your body and embrace, and your hands I kiss
Because your skin is something that I really missed
Place my lips on yours, and you jerk to the left
You begin kissing me and run out of breath
Our hands intertwine like two birds in love
The game begins, and I don’t need a sub
I hold your back because you are beginning to fall
We lay down and I give you my all
Gripping on your shirt, please come off
Your unhooking what’s mine, you want it all off
We lock eyes for a moment, is this really happening
I move lower and lower, and you begin to scream
I move back up for another taste
I’ve wanted this so much, your memory was hard to erase
Suddenly we are under the covers and we are caressing
No need to wait, we just move on to the next thing
Hold you in my arms, I love you so much
So many lonely nights, now I get to touch
Breathe me deeply, I am set on you
Put our clothes back on, we are through
You hook on your jeans, I hook on mine
Walk out of the house with our hats to the side
I don’t need you so I say goodbye goodbye
Your fingering my necklace, asking, “When will you come back.”
“You know when girl” I say as a matter of fact
So we hold our own, tightly grasp each others hands
and then finally i look to the sky and finally understand

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
