peace be your journey

Topic: InspirationalPoems

no matter how far you are away from me i am with your heart
and in the hard places you must walk, when tired .left your head listen for my whispers of love in the wind

peace be your journey until you are safe home
a light will burn in my window until you return
peace be your journey until then

when you are low in spirit at night ,look at the sky ,see the brightest star shine ..that is me sending a smile to lift your weariness
in the crowded places you must walk
remember the quiet of our embrace

peace be your journey until you are safe home
a light will burn in my window until you return
peace be your journey until then

when things get tough and hope is low
when the road is long and journey never ending
look at my picture and love remembered will hope renew

peace be your journey until you are safe home
a light burn in my window until your return
peace be your journey my love
until you are in my arms again

excellent write, " a light will burn in my window until you return' gives a neat picture of a lady who awaits her husband. ' see the brightest star shine.. thats me sending a smile to lift you' very apt, since the wanderer watches the stars when he is walking alone to find the time, ' when the road is long..look at my picture and the love remembered will renew hope" well said. this poem wonderfully describes the feelings of a lady who could be an inspiration to her husband and who is also a beloved to her husband.. excellent poem. I feel fourth stanza is unnecessarily. it hinders the thought flow. I truly enjoye this poem. venkat
