~ The apology~

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When the moments transpire all words a fire.
Regret latter settles in like a stone in your heart.
Reaching conclusions it is time to move on
but not before you release all you store in your soul.

When we speak of mended and wounded then wounded once more.
Forgiveness and seeking and say the words
I am sorry when it is truly sincere,
then it is cast to the wayside without a care.

We all make mistakes and at times can be harsh.
When it comes to family and friends what is more important?
Holding onto the grudge like a foolish school child,
instead of dusting it off and a new path make.

When the apology is thrown back in ones face.
It proves the point once more.....
When given opportunity some rather keep the flame hot
than douse it out and smolder the fire with love.

Well I have come to a conclusion, it is simply a waste.
I shall not trod down those roads once more.
Damage is done and there is no returning
from the place that once was before.

So sit idly by and not say a word.
Throw the sincere and kind words away.
It is a new day I don't have time to play
and I shalt not whisper another apology once more.

One day when you wake up and then look around,
finding yourself null and void.
You will then understand that without love from your friends
life is a hard and bumpy ride.

Same goes for family and oh such a waste,
when you still think that you are so important.
I will state it again that dog wont hunt anymore
and you can sit later in years with the frown hanging down to your chin.

You wont find me crying over rotten spilled milk,
and as I see it that is just the way it is.
I shall fill my cup full till it overflows and spills freely
oh no there shall not be an apology ever again.

Made your bed rest uneasy in it............

dedicated to SC, KC, CRS, and the other two who are not even worth the mention......... go to hell

Let it out Shelby. You know you made the effort. Nothing else for you to do but move onward and upward.
