As we compliment each other
And the other asks why Bother?
Trying to make the other see
What we see so easily
The beauty and perfection
That I recognize instantly
Seems to evade your perception
Since you so quickly disagree
Your eyes, your smile, your hair
Legs, skin, curves, and Body
I cant help but stop and stare
You're Everything i want you to be

I have also wondered the same thing. Why can't we just accept the fact that what we see in ourselves is not necessarily what's really there? If that makes sense? But good write. I really enjoyed it. |
