and so the rain pours down
and so my eyes grow dim

and so does crawl my skin

I never wanted to break free

and so the face inside burns away
we all have come here, but you will not let us stay
and so the face inside turns so gray
we all have come here knowing we cannot remain

explain it to her as she bats her eyes,
explain it to the bats that wait outside

and so my eyes are glowing

and so my skin away is going

I cannot face the sky

this has a forceful splendor to it.
I really enjoyed this.
The act of the rain within it fits a soul forlorn.
