good-bye

I met myself. . .
halfway to nowhere
still. . . I was
a stranger there.
my candor
abit too much
to take. . .
forsaken, old despair.
farewell, I bid
to all the past
& stood
awhile to gaze
upon the difference
immediate
& all pervasive
to me, the choice
had made.
for all intent
a pleasant ending,
beginning our
good-bye.
I reached into
the heart of love
& found your name. . .
desire.
