the way we want to see

Contributed by lostrelic on Tuesday, 3rd June 2008 @ 05:48:54 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Another day without change and more of the mess to clean
corruption came by the island the winds they sang a solber song
greed is the factor the number one enemy on the list
once we change that goal most suits will follow
the end of the banana hurricanes on the way
a city in ruins as the tremors still shake
hope becoming an endangered species
humanity on the brink of chaos
and we sit back saying thank god i dont live there

money money who do you trust
the guy up high or the ones in the crunch
surfing that garbage wave right back to the sea
the mian gave us 4 more years til they say we are done
we cant belive that we only just begun
where is the age of inlightenment our years in peace
from one fable to the next what is even true to belive
live now stop worshipping the sun the garden has grown that day is done
the old gods are back in their place
sitting watching as we make the run this rigid race

you sit watching the sky with cracks on the brain
something bads going to happen if chaos is what you want for gain
think for the better use the power of wisdom for something not for yourself
stop dreaming of old stories that were written in some book
forget about all who follow in answears
remember the world and the way we want to see it

I agree with Em you spoke volumes in this write,

you sit watching the sky with cracks on the brain...
one of many lines I adore in this write.

Be well my wise friend........ Keep spreading the word.

Michelle
