Carrying a broken heart
That only time can heal
Not wanting to hurt anyone
Especially not you
I walked away silently
Hiding behind the tears
That is already flowing inside my aching heart
A little more time spent
Away from you
I edged further away from breaking down completely
There is light
Somewhere in this darkness
I believe so
I need to believe
