There's Nothing Left

Contributed by pixie on Friday, 30th May 2008 @ 12:19:35 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I don’t know what to do, there’s nothing left,
I have lived right up ‘til my last breath,
Willing myself, begging, pleading,
And now my battered body’s bleeding.

The emotional scars, too much to bear,
The pain and anguish continue to tear,
They scrape at the bones of me,
I live in prison, never free.

I long for sweet happiness,
But into your world I do digress,
Choking from your deadly fumes,
Your misery violates my womb.

Hacking away, just chopping..chopping,
Never for a moment stopping,
Bleeding my veins ever dry,
There’s nothing left, but still I cry.

Pixie,

I know you are going through such a hard time right now. It may even seem there is no way out, no light at the end of that dark tunnel but I know you...... You are beautiful and your inner light is there just reach for it, you may need to reach and grab it so hard you will stand yourself on your head but do it!! This makes me feel so sad reading it. I so do not like my friends to be so hurt. I felt you and I hear you and I do understand.
If I could wash it all away from you I would.

Please please hang in there it will turn around, for I am not speaking to someone weak...... You have fire and strength dig it out and run like the wind with it hun!!!!!!!!!!

I love ya remember that ok??

Michelle

A very stirring piece. The pain is tangable.
I so enjoy reading your works...I so wish that they came from another source...

Hi Pixie,
I'm so sorry that I have been away from here for so long. My great regret in life is loosing touch with you. But I'm hoping to put that right and I just want you to know I'm always here for you. Please get in touch soon.

Your old friend,

Pander
