Eyes of Blue

Contributed by UnknownLegend on Friday, 30th May 2008 @ 12:14:37 PM in AEST
Topic: Nostalgic

To walk along the shore at dawn and gaze those eyes of blue
to take what's left of life's regrets and lose them all in you
All seems so well ... the calm within, confusion all but gone
the tranquil sea connects with me our journey nearly done.

The waves they break beneath our feet the water is so clear
like eyes of blue the sun reflects, I see no need to fear
Our footprints now impress the sand of where our day began
just one more wave to gently fill the path of where we been

For life is just one great big wish and dreams that can come true
and my one wish, I realized ... to spend this time with you.
Forever walk this shore at dawn, the sand our path begun
to deeply gaze those eyes of blue, from now 'til set of sun
