~The bull and the daisy~

Once upon a time, in a field far away.
There lived a big ol bull named killer,
this big guy perfectly fit his name.

He snorted and grunted and pawed the ground.
He rammed the fence with his mighty horns.
He took it upon his self to give chase, off you run off to the race.

Nobody much cared for killer.
He was a mean old cuss.
His delight of the day was eating on hay or you if he got the chance.

One day the showdown happened.
Young miss thought that that killer was locked away.
Off she went across the pasture, killer came for the chase.

Over the fence she hopped,
killer right at her heels.
A couple big blows the fence fell down, now she is really on her toes.

Around the back of the house
underneath the clothes line,
killer snorting and seeing red, on the young miss he would dine.

Through the vegetable garden,
sliding through the flowers.
Falling into the daises killer not giving up the chase.

Soon the round up in sued.
Killer he wasn't giving an inch.
Stomping and bunting and grunting, he was not goin back in the fence.

After ropes and a truck,
away ol killer did go.
There was talk of a big plate of fresh beef, killers count down seeming low.

Little miss waited awhile,
killer was still hoppin mad.
A handful of daisies tossed to his feet, he snorted then rested his head.

Now to this day nobody is sure.
But killer seemed to mellow a moment.
When he smelled the tossed daisies near his mad hoofs, maybe tis true a bull does love a daisy..

Delightful my friend ....... a lot more here should follow your example and write of humor and pleasant days rather than of death and anger. Keep up the good work Michelle
