Stand up

Contributed by HonestInk on Friday, 30th May 2008 @ 06:02:03 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Someone told me before
that I have to smile
even when I want to cry
I have to hold my head high
Told me,
Call people out on their ****
don't fall with every hit
push those shoulders back
and make them believe
you feel as good as you look
learn it by the book
Said,
Tell people how you really feel
you may be surprised with what you find..
don't always make up your mind
sometimes its okay to be lost
don't think about the cost
And don't get screwed over and let it go
if someone hurts you
they need to know
don't be bothered by what others say
chances are they suck anyway
